I have always wanted to start a scholarship fund in my name, and through these challenges they have allowed me to make an impact on someone’s life and help mentor them to the goals and dreams they have.
It all started from running one mile every hour on the hour for 24 hours, biking the entire Katy Trail (245 miles) in one day, hiking 30,000ft of elevation traveled in 15 hours, running 100k and two sub 3 hour marathons, to and now tackling the Ultra Dayton 100 Mile race!
I am an avid believer that once you make a commitment to yourself and do your absolute best to accomplish it, you unlock another level of self awareness, confidence, and love for yourself. Being able to reflect that once you put your mind and soul into something, no challenge or hiccup in life is too hard to overcome.
It’s these aspects that drove me to accomplish my biggest challenge yet. On February 5th, I completed the HOKA Rocky Raccoon 100k Endurance Trail Race with Justin Peters. I completed this 62 miles race in 11 hours and 45 minuets, taking 6th place overall and 1st in my division.
I completed the 4x4x48 challenge organized by David Goggins the weekend of March 4th to the 6th. This challenge is running four miles every four hours for 48 hours . On March 12th I completed the St. Paddy’s day half Marathon at Creve Couer Park in 1:27:36. I followed this challenge with competing in the St. Louis Go Marathon on April 2nd. I completed my first official marathon in 2:58:32 and was able to push through the best pain cave I have ever entered, until the Mo Cowbell Marathon on October, 2nd! I ran this last race in 2 hours 51 minutes and 7 seconds.

My name is Mason Stevens and I’m a fan of big challenges. I am originally from Oakdale, CA, and was a military kid who moved nearly every two years of my life. I completed my Bachelors degree at Webster University, and then I had the opportunity to continue learning abroad in Thailand and the Netherlands, while pursuing my Masters in Management and Leadership.
I created Finding Future to help the individuals awarded in discovering and “finding their future”. My goal would be to help join them in their journey to improve their mind and future. Helping with some financial assistance and the opportunity to build a connection about their passions in life, I believe can add a valuable relationship in both of our lives.

Through all the love and support I was able to encounter, I was able to grant three $1,000 scholarships for this Fall semester of 2021- Spring 2022 for any additional education programs. This includes all programs from Community college, University, Trade School, Computer Programming/ Coding Certificates, Nursing School, Personal Training Certificate, Nutritionist, Chiropractor, and any self enrolled course to develop your personal ambitions.
This year of applications was truly amazing and so valuable to me. The authentic answers and depth people put into them was very humbling. I am beyond excited to announce this years winners. Please check my instagram @mason_james209.
Through this scholarship I hope to provide more than financial assistance and truly turn this into a relationship to help push one another to cultivate our future. Applications will open back up summer on 2022!
